In a recent phone conversation with DJ Whoo Kid, Eminem discussed the possibility of new music, and responded to rumors that he and 50 Cent are working on a joint project.

In the conversation, which Whoo Kid posted on 1/28, Em says that he is, "working on a little something," and that his life has been on pause during the Detroit Lions run in the NFL playoffs.

Whoo Kid then asked Em about the rumored collaboration album with his longtime friend, 50 Cent.

"Where did that come from," the "Slim Shady" rapper asked, before responding that it's time for new 50 Cent music. "I don't know whose idea that was, but that's crazy," he said. "I'm trying to get him to make a new album so bad. We need another 50 album like really bad. Fif is on a roll right now, he's been on a roll since the [Final Lap] tour."

"Whatever he needs from me, I'm here," Em said. "That shit would be crazy though, an album with me and him."

Eminem made a surprise appearance on the Detroit stop of 50's Final Lap tour where they performed "Crack A Bottle," from Em's Relapse album. The duo has collaborated over the years, most recently on Ed Sheeran's 2019 song, "Remember the Name."
