Air Jordan 1 Retro High co.JP 'Midnight Navy' 2020

The 2020 reissue of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High CO.JP ‘Midnight Navy’ brings back a Japan-exclusive colorway that first launched in 2001 in a limited run of just 3,000 pairs. Similar to the accompanying metallic silver edition, the shoe marks one of the first times that non-OG colors were featured on the high-top silhouette. Here, a white leather upper is accented with a silver Swoosh and navy nubuck overlays. A jeweled Wings logo adorns the lateral ankle, while Nike Air branding is embroidered across the tongue.
Notes -

The Jordan 1 is a staple of the culture. MJ did everything with effortless style. We've seen this silhouette — along with other classics like the 3's, 4's, and 11's — become much more than just sneakers. Sure, they look dope breaking some hopeless defender's ankles when you're playing ball, but they look equally fresh rocking them with a pair of jeans or a tuxedo.

According to the legend, when the original Air Jordan I debuted in 1985, the predominantly red and black design was banned by the league. Essentially, the league told Mike he was just too fly. But MJ is MJ, and he was willing to take the fine that the league imposed. If you ever wondered if you could put a price on style, this "Banned" color way told the world that money ain't a thang.
