Snoop Dogg Joins "The Voice" As Mega Mentor

Snoop Dogg is joining "The Voice."

The Doggfather will be coming onboard in Season 20 of NBC's hit competition series, joining Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Nick Jonas, John Legend to mentor the remaining artists who have made it through the Battle Rounds, as the team prepares for the Knockouts starting on Monday, April 19.

NBC announced the news on Thursday (April 1). But it was no joke. Other Hip-Hop figures have been advisors/coaches on the show, including Diddy and DJ Khaled. Pop superstar Ariana Grande has also joined the show. 

"surprise !!! i am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice ! @nickjonas we will miss you," she shared via Twitter.
