It seems like R&B star Frank Ocean may be returning with a brand new album five years after his critically acclaimed sophomore album Blonde and visual album Endless.
According to a report from HITS Daily Double, the former Odd Future member finished his third studio album and is currently shopping it around to record labels as he prepares for his much-anticipated return.
Ocean is reportedly having discussions with labels to come to a distribution agreement for his forthcoming project.
Frank Ocean has been an independent artist since August 2016, when he completed his contract with Def Jam by releasing his visual album Endless, just to surprise fans by dropping his official second studio album, Blonde, the day after through his label, Boys Don’t Cry.
Ocean went on a run, blessing fans with singles in the years after the release of Blond with songs like “Chanel,” “Lens,” “DHL,” “Provider,” “In My Room,” a cover of “Moon River,” and “Biking” featuring Jay-Z and Tyler, the Creator.
