Dr. Dre Plays Grandmaster Flash Unreleased Album

It’s always refreshing to see legends that have contributed to our culture connect with each other. Hip-hop fans were excited to see legendary DJ pioneer Grandmaster Flash and West Coast producer Dr. Dre link up in Los Angeles this past weekend. 

On Sunday(August 1), Grandmaster Flash took to the official Furious 5 Instagram account to share a photo of him and Dr. Dre showing each other love at the rap moguls house following the DiscOasus event that happened this weekend. Flash gave some exciting news to fans with the post, announcing that he was one of the first ones to hear Dre’s upcoming project. 

“GRANDMASTER FLASH & DR. DRE,” he wrote in the caption. “Here in LA doing the Disco Oasis with Nile Rogers tonite, I get a call from one of my heroes; he invites me to the CRIB.

“He takes me down to the STUDIO he played me a project that will change the game!! Totally incredible, we top off the day for 2hrs talkin about Music, Family Health and Life thanks for the Invite Dr. Dre.”

Dr. Dre fans have been speculating the release of his now-legendary album, Detox, after multiple posts of him in the studio with Aftermath artists and close collaborators, including Eminem, D.O.C, and Dem Jointz. On another Instagram post, producer Dem Jointz posted a photo of himself, Dr. Dre, Derek Ali, and more with the caption, “And we back!” Dem wrote in the caption. “#Detox21.”
