Snoop Dogg is one of the busiest artists in the music industry. With countless side hustles and business ventures to his name, the Long Beach legend is looking to add another hustle to his resume.

On Tuesday (January 11), Billboard reported that Snoop’s attorneys have applied for a federal trademark registration on the term “Snoop Doggs,” with plans to launch his own hot dog company under the name.

Snoop’s new business venture into the hot dog industry is surprising since he dissed the popular food back in 2016 during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The Doggstyle rapper said he would never eat a hot dog again after watching how the sausages get made on a segment called “Hows It Mizzade.”

“This is a hot dog!?,” he asked in horror. “Oh cuz, I ain’t never eating a muthafucking hot dog! Every time I see a muthafucka with a plate with a hot dog on it, I’m knocking that shit out his hands. If that’s how they make hot dogs, I don’t want one. I’m good.”

Snoop is still staying busy in the studio. The emcee recently released his first album since joining Def Jam, The Algorithm, with plans to drop another new album in 2022. As he revealed on Instagram, the project is titled B.O.D.R and will find him linking with legendary West Coast producer DJ Battlecat.
